Bags to mats

A ministry that weaves plastic shopping bags into mats for people who are homeless. It takes 600–800 bags, flattened, trimmed, looped, and woven on a loom to make a 6’ x 4’ mat. Bags to mats meets every Tuesday evening from 5:00–8:00 pm, at the Troy Township Library.

Bethel garden

On our campus, we grow a wide variety of fresh produce to benefit our local food pantry and others in need. Ministries Unlimited is a cooperative effort of the churches in the Troy area to supply food, clothing, and other basic needs for families in crisis. The Bethel Garden provides vegetables grown on our soil to families in need.

correctional ministry

Bethel volunteers currently bring the Gospel into men’s and women’s prisons in Greenville, Pinckneyville, and Ina, Illinois, as well as the Madison County Jail. Volunteers also help with transition once these men and women are released.
