1. When you obey Christ’s commands. (Vv. 1–6)
   (Luke 6:46; 1 John 5:3)

   1. They believed Christ.

   2. They followed Christ.

   3. They submitted to Christ.

   4. They were used by Christ.

   5. They glorified Christ.

2. When you give from your resources.
   (Mark 11:5–6)

   1. Jesus calls us to live a life of giving & serving.
      (Mark 10:45; Luke 9:23)

   2. Giving is the response of trust and faith.
      (Luke 6:38)

   3. Giving begets praise.

3. When you passionately praise the Lord.
   (Matt. 21:9; Ps. 118:26; Luke 19:37–38; Ps. 150:6)

   1. Praise is a response to salvation.

   2. Praise is an indicator of faith.

   3. Praise is a liberator from fear.

4. When you refuse to be hindered by critics.
   (Luke 19:39–40)

   “The evil one always tries to hinder praise and deflect glory from Jesus.”

   1. Refuse to hinder your praise.

   2. Refuse to hinder your prayer. (Matt. 20:31)

   3. Refuse to hinder children. (Matt. 21:15–16)

   4. Refuse to hinder the hurting. (Matt. 21:14)

   5. Refuse to hinder your testimony. (Acts. 4:18–20)
