  1. The kingdoms of this world.

    (Dan. 7:1–7, 15–23)

    1. A lion with eagles’ wings = Babylon.

    2. A bear with ribs in its mouth = Medes/Persian.

    3. A leopard with 4 wings and 4 heads = Greece.

    4. A beast with iron teeth and 10 horns = Rome.

  1. The kingdom of evil.

    (Dan. 7:8, 11, 24–25)

    1. It begins small.

    2. It is personified by an arrogant man.

    3. He is opposed to God.

    4. He oppresses God’s people.

      (Dan. 8:23–25)

    5. He will rule and destroy.

      (Dan. 9:26; 11:36–37; 2 Thes. 2:3–4, 6–121 John 2:18; Rev. 13:1–10)

  1. The victorious kingdom of God.

    (Dan. 7:9–10, 13–14, 16–18, 27)

    1. The sovereign one.

    2. The son of man.

      (Rev. 19:11–16, 20–21; 20:10)

    3. The saints of God.

      (Dan. 7:22; Rev. 1:5–6; 20:4–6; 22:3–5)

Take Away Truths:

  1. We live in a time of changing governments and kingdoms.

  2. We live in a time of hardship and evil power.

  3. Satan and evil are opposed to God and His people.

  4. Oppression and suffering should not surprise us.

  5. God is sovereign and defeats evil.

  6. Christ is our conquering savior.

  7. All who trust in Jesus will rejoice and reign with Him.
