    2. The Characteristics of followers.

      1. Obedience.  (Luke 6:46)

      2. Love. (John 13:34–35)

      3. Giving. (Mark 10:45; Luke 9:23)

      4. Witnessing. (Luke 9:1–2; 24:45–48; Acts 1:8)

  2. Trust me!

    1. Following Jesus will include trials.

    2. The Lord uses trials to teach us to trust Him.

    3. God reveals Himself in the “storms of life”. (Ps. 56:3–4)

  1. Serve me! 

    (John 20:15–19)

    1. Jesus pursues us.

    2. Jesus corrects us.

    3. Jesus comforts us.

    4. Jesus commissions us.
