    1. God’s power is on display in our weakness.

    1. The life of Jesus is manifest in our suffering.

  1. A ministry with a divine motive. (Vv. 15–18)

    1. For your sakes; for your good. (V. 15)

    2. For God’s sake; for His glory. (V. 17)

    3. For eternities sake; for that which is eternal. (V. 18)

Why Missions?

  • The world is dark.

  • This life is real.

  • The message is true.

  • The motive is eternal.
