1. Is there any place for personal boasting? (V. 27)
   No! (Rom. 2:17, 23; 1 Cor. 1:26–31; Jer. 9:24(NLT))

2. By what kind of law (principle) are you justified? (V. 27)

   1. Of works?
      No!

   2. Of faith?
      Yes! (V. 28)
      (Rom. 3:20–22; Eph. 2:9; James 2:14, 18, 20, 26; Eph. 2:10)

3. Are Jews and Gentiles on the same footing before God? (Vv. 29–30)
   Truth: “There is only one plan of salvation for all people” (Rom. 10:11–13; Gal. 3:20–22)

4. Does the Gospel nullify the law? (V. 31)
   No Way! (Matt. 5:17; Rom. 8:3–4)

5. What about Abraham? How was he justified? (Vv. 4:1–5)

   1. Not by works.

   2. By faith. (Rom. 11:6; John 6:29)
