God’s judgement is inescapable. (Vv. 1–4)
There is no escape because:
You agree with God’s ordinances and laws. (Rom. 1:32)
You strictly judge others. (V. 1) (Matt. 7:1–2)
You know God’s judgement is true. (John 8:16–18)
You know God’s judgement is certain. (V. 3)
There is no excuse because:
God’s judgement is righteous. (Vv. 5–11)
You are obstinate.
You are unrepentant.
God’s judgement is coming. (V. 5)
God’s judgement will be according to our behavior. (V. 6)
(Ps. 62:12; Matt. 16:27; 2 Cor. 5:10)God’s judgement will separate and sift. (Vv. 7–10)
Two kinds of persons. (Matt. 7:13–14, 21–23)
